Notice of Road Closure – Back Lane, Gayton
WNC will be utilising the JCB pothole pro to carry
out carriageway repairs.
Where: Back Lane, Gayton
When: Monday 29th June 2026 – Tuesday 30th June 2026
Times: Working hours 09:15-15:00 (road will be
accessible as normal outside of these hours)
Traffic Management: There will be a road closure with a
diversion in place.
Emergency Vehicles: We will maintain access for
emergency vehicles.
Residents/Businesses: Please be assured that we aim to
maintain access for residents/businesses. There may
be short periods where vehicles will be prohibited due to
the repair process. During these times vehicle access
will be restricted. Please allow extra time for your
journeys and consult with the Traffic Management on
site. Advanced warning signs will be placed in the area
prior to the works starting. Thank you for your
understanding, patience, and co-operation.
Public Transport: All Public transport to follow diversion
– No bus stops within closure
