DESCRIPTION:An Update on the Gayton Neighbourhood Development Plan \nSaturday 12 September at 10:30am – PLEASE NOTE CORRECT TIME\, VILLAGE \nEMAIL & FORMER FLYERS MAY HAVE LISTED 11am \nSt Mary’s Church\, Gayton \nDear Resident\,\nThe draft Gayton Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) is taking shape\, and we would like to invite you to an important community meeting to hear about progress so far and the next steps. \nThe Neighbourhood Development Plan will help guide future development in Gayton\, ensuring that growth reflects the character of our village and the needs and priorities of residents. \nWhat We Will Discuss \nProgress Update \nPresented by the NDP Team\n• Key findings and progress since the 2025 village questionnaire.\n• The vision and objectives of the Plan.\n• Work completed so far and the programme ahead. \nCall for Sites \nThe Call for Sites paperwork will be delivered to every household in Gayton\, and to all landowners in the Parish\, during the last weekend in August. Participants will have until 1 December 2026 to respond. More information will be available at the Village Meeting on 12 September. \nPresented by the NDP Team \nLearn about: \n• What a Call for Sites involves.\n• Why it is a required part of the planning process.\n• Why the submission of a site does not mean it will be allocated for development or supported by the Parish Council. \nHousing Needs Survey \nPresented by ACRE \nFind out:\n• Why an independent Housing Needs Survey is being undertaken.\n• How the survey will identify local housing needs and inform the Plan.\n• How residents can take part when the survey is launched. \nLooking Ahead \nPresented by the NDP Team \nUpdates on: \n• Site assessments.\n• Development of the draft Plan and supporting evidence.\n• Future community engagement opportunities.\n• Formal consultation before submission to West Northamptonshire Council. \nQuestions and Open Discussion \nAfter a short refreshment break\, there will be an opportunity to ask questions\, share your views\, and speak directly with members of the NDP Team. \nYour Village.
